Principal’s Greeting 2011-2012
Welcome everyone and thank you for visiting the website of the newly reorganized Prudence Crandall School as an Intermediate School for students in Grades 3-5. We are PRUDENCE CRANDALL SCHOOL!
We have six classrooms for each grade level and two classrooms for the Educational Counseling Program servicing students in Grades 1-5. More than 50 dedicated teachers, specialists, and staff members have come together to continuously engage over 430 students in learning activities everyday. Our goal this year is to create a Caring Professional Learning Community where our students are academically challenged while feeling nurtured and safe. We are PRUDENCE CRANDALL SCHOOL!
We focus on literacy and numeracy through researched based instructional strategies and best teaching practices. Teachers work collaboratively on grade level teams, with support staff, and cooperatively with parents to help each student demonstrate his or her personal best on a daily basis. Our PTO is active and plans to offer a wide variety of events that will enhance our students’ school experience. This can be accomplished with the assistance of parents participating on the various PTO committee offerings. As one of ten schools in the Enfield Public School District, we work to support the district’s theme- United We Learn. We are PRUDENCE CRANDALL SCHOOL!
